OPI XI Draft Program and Registration Deadline
Dear OPI XI Presenters,
After much anticipation, we are pleased to share the draft program for the Oceans Past Initiative XI Conference, taking place June 15–19, 2026, in Victoria, British Columbia (Canada).
If you have not already done so, please complete your conference registration as soon as possible. Please note that the deadline for in-person full conference registration is Sunday, May 31st, at midnight British Summer Time. If you have received a registration fee waiver from conference organizers no further action is needed.
We are currently finalizing the logistics for both in-person and online participation. Additional conference information, presentation formats, the General Assembly meeting, and the book of abstracts will continue to be shared over the coming weeks. Please also check the OPIXI conference website and the OPI website regularly for updates and details.
A few reminders:
- Please note that excursions can be booked as add-ons during or after the registration process.
- Nominations for the next OPI Governing Board are now open. To submit a nomination, including self-nominations, please email info@oceanspast.org with the nominee’s name, the position nominated for, institutional affiliation, and a short bio and statement of interest. Please also see the OPI Constitution here.
We are looking forward to an exciting meeting and to welcoming you all to OPI XI!
